About Peyia


Peyia (or Pegeia) is situated about 15km away from Paphos Town and 3km away from Coral Bay. Peyia, is a very much sought after location and is set in the hills behind the very popular Coral Bay. Although the village offers a few restaurants and bars, it has not been totally invaded by tourism and can be described as a ‘typical village in the hills’.

Peyia’s steep position guarantees fantastic views of Coral Bay and surrounding areas from almost wherever you happen to be. Ayios Georgios Basilica and the fountains of Peyia. 4.5km from the village, are the ruins of two early Christian basilicas with mosaic floors. This mini resort is located in a rural part of Peyia, only 1 km away from the village centre, where you will be able to find a supermarket, bank, butchers, bakers, DVD rental, vets, beauticians, hairdressers, bars, restaurants, tavernas and much more which makes Peyia a self contained village. It is also minutes away from the wonderful sandy beaches of Coral Bay. Consisting of 5 blocks (12 units in each block) with 1 and 2-bedroom apartments with large covered verandas. Peyia is situated in the foothills of Paphos so is a short distance to the town centre. The apartments are also about 35minutes from Paphos airport. There are two high quality Golf Courses in the area and a choice of international schools in Paphos. It is also a short distance to the beautiful beaches of Coral Bay.

Coral Bay beach and resort town is only 5 minutes drive. To get away from the crowds, there are more isolated beaches within 15 minutes drive. Golf: The area boasts 3 excellent golf courses all within easy reach of the apartment: Tsada 30 mins drive, Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills 40 mins drive. It is advisable to book these courses before you arrive in Cyprus, especially during the high season. Special interest holidays: Scuba diving in the crystal clear waters. Trekking in the Troodos Mountains, shopping in Nicosia, numerous historical sites, water sports, it's all here! and with an estimated 340 days of sunshine a year... any time is a good time to visit.
